Track-It is module for use with CADduct, CAMduct or ESTduct that allows the User to Track Manufactured, Bought Out and Equipment Items (Products) through the Building Project Life Cycle.
Bar Coding Items:
All Items assigned to a CADduct (AutoCAD) Drawing, CAMduct Manufacturing Job or an Estimate can automatically produce custom designed Item labels to any of the Bar Code Standards.
For example: Drawing/Job Name, Item No, Description, EAN No . . .
If required, Track-It also enables the User to produce Bar Code Labels for:
Manufactured Items that are going into Stock
Bought Out Stock Items that are Shipped to Site.
Plant Items, Tools and Equipment that can be booked out to a Site.
Item Status
Items can be assigned different User defined Statuses as they proceed through the cycle.
Typical Statuses:
Drawing Office, Approved, Manufacturing, QA, Shipping, On Site, Installed, Tested, Valuations, Completed.
Some of the Statuses can be changed from Bar Code Reader Stations.
Others can be changed on the AutoCAD Drawing, for example Drawing Office to Approved.
Others can be changed from within CAMduct, ESTduct or the (Project Manager).
Status Data
The following data can be recorded for each Status.
Date, Time, Operator, Custom field-1, Custom Field-2
Reports:
Custom Reports, that indicate Item Statuses, can be viewed or printed.
Any of the data can be exported for use by 3rd party software.
Typical Uses for Track-It
- Tracking Items through Manufacturing.
- Tracking Tools & Equipment.
- Tracking Delivery to Site.
- Finding Items on Site and linking them to a Status or payments (On site – Installed – Tested – invoiced).
- Quickly Obtain a Work Sheet on the Shop Floor for a particular Item being manufactured.
- Quickly select Parts or Items for further processing i.e. select and nest Insulation Panels.
What you will need besides the Track-It Software:
One or more Bar Code Scanners. These can be wireless or use the USB Port.
Scanners come in all shapes, sizes and prices. If you have special requirements that require the Scanner to have advanced options please discuss with your agent.
