DONGLE ISSUES
 

For USB type dongles follow these instructions.

  1. First we have to uninstall all Dongle drivers from the system,  to do this download the file from here
  2. This will download a file called HASPDinst_520.zip
  3. Save this to your desktop, then unzip the file to a location on your C: Drive. (C:\Hasp)
  4. This will place a file called haspdinst.exe into the location specified.
  5. Remove the Dongle from the USB Port
  6. From the commandline (Start - Run) run the following "C:\<location>\haspdinst.exe" -kp -fremove
  7. Restart the PC and from the commandline run the following "C:\<location>\haspdinst.exe" -i
  8. The application should now work with the dongle.  

For Parallel Port type dongle follow these instructions.

  1. First we have to uninstall all Dongle drivers from the system,  to do this download the file from here
  2. This will download a file called Hinstall.zip
  3. Save this to your desktop, then unzip the file to a location on your C: Drive. (C:\Hasp)
  4. This will place a file called hinstall.exe into the location specified.
  5. Remove the Dongle from the Parallel Port
  6. From the commandline (Start - Run) run the following "C:\<location>\hinstall.exe" -r -kp -alldrv
  7. Restart the PC and from the commandline run the following "C:\<location>\hinstall.exe" -i
  8. The application should now work with the dongle.

If you are using a 64 bit operating system such as Windows XP 64 Pro

  1. First you will need the 64 bit drivers available here.
  2. This will download a file called haspdinst_x64.zip
  3. Save this to your desktop, then unzip the file to a location on your C: Drive. (C:\Hasp)
  4. This will place a file called haspdinst_x64.exe into the location specified.
  5. From the commandline (Start - Run) run the following "C:\<location>\haspdinst_x64.exe" -i
  6. This will install the Aladdin Device drivers for the dongle
  7. Restart the PC 
  8. The application should now work with the dongle.
